Seems that the WashPo editorial board just can’t get over Bob McDonnell’s landslide election two weeks ago. Today’s top editorial once again sought to tie Gov.-elect McDonnell to Pat Robertson and the comments that he recently made about Islam.
Funny, I don’t remember them running editorials like this demanding that The Teleprompted One respond to the hateful comments made by his pastor of 20 years Rev. Jeremiah Wright. (Please correct me if I am wrong and post a link to said editorial.)
If the WashPo wants to go down this road, they’re welcome to do so. After all, the similar attack that Creigh Deeds launched against McDonnell based upon his thesis worked out so well, didn’t it?
The members of the WashPo editorial board really need to just let all of their hate and anger go. This isn’t healthy behavior on their part.
Oh, one more thing. Let’s not forget that the WashPo tried to sell lobbyists access to top ranking Obama administration officials via their corrupt “salon” scheme earlier this year. (I just had to rub that scandal in again.)

If you want to understand one of the reasons why AG Holder’s decision to try Khalid Sheik Mohammed in civilian court is reckless and irresponsible, watch Senator Lindsey Graham destroy Attorney General Eric Holder’s arguments on Miranda rights on Osama bin Laden. Graham is dead-on target; Holder is evasive, has only weak excuses, and is unable to offer a coherent rationale for his decision. Clearly, the more closely the Obama administration’s decision is examined, the worse it looks.

Lost man drives nine hours to get newspaper (Reuters)

Reuters – An elderly man who went out to fetch a morning newspaper ended up driving nearly 400 miles after getting lost and taking a wrong turn onto a major Australian highway, police said on Wednesday. The man, 81-year-old Eric Steward, eventually stopped and asked for directions after driving for nine hours, from the New South Wales country town of Yass to Geelong in the southern Victoria state.

Barack Obama, our hypocrite-in-Chief, speaking to Chinese students in Shanghai:
“I think that the more freely information flows, the stronger the society becomes, because then citizens of countries around the world can hold their own governments accountable.”“I’m a big supporter of non-censorship,” Obama said. “I recognize that different countries have different traditions. I can tell you that in the United States, the fact that we have free Internet – or unrestricted Internet access is a source of strength, and I think should be encouraged.”
But NewsBusters is having none of it, and goes into the extent of Obama’s hypocrisy for readers that may be unaware of the state of free speech in America under the Obama regime.

I share the feeling of the Washington, D.C.-based Democrat lawyer who’s held counsel positions both in the Senate and in previous presidential administrations, who is surprised at the fact that not only does the press seems to be ignoring the fact that two presidential lawyers have left at about the same time, but that no one seems to care that for the first time, I think ever, we have a President’s personal attorney also serving as White House counsel.
Like “The Prowler,” I would think that others would also see a certain “ugliness” about the current goings-on in the Executive Office of the President.
